Overview

We are looking to appoint qualified Supply Teaching Assistants in St Fagan’s, Cardiff. The candidate needs to be hardworking and committed to their role within the classroom. Candidates may be required to work with children on a one to one basis, so it is vital that the candidates for these roles can be open to various methods of providing support. These vacancies are to cover planned and unplanned absences such as sicknesses, maternity, paternity and courses. Therefore, candidates should expect to receive calls in the morning.
All staff and candidates must be aware of VES’ Safeguarding Policy and must follow all procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults. Educational Requirements
VES are looking for Teaching Assistants with ONE OF the following qualifications:- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in CCLD.
- Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social.
- BA Hons Childhood Degree.
