LRB Teaching Assistants – Merthyr Tydfil
Overview
VES Recruitment Ltd (VES) is an established provider of temporary staff to schools across South Wales. We are one of the preferred suppliers for NPS Framework Provider for the Welsh Government!
Furthermore, here at VES, we are looking to appoint qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants, to work in LRB Classes in schools in the Merthyr Tydfil area. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to be hardworking and committed to their role within the classroom. Teaching Assistants may be required to work with children on a one to one basis, as well as in small groups, so it is vital that candidates can be open to various methods of providing support.
These vacancies are to cover planned and unplanned absences such as sicknesses, maternity, paternity and courses.
Experience working with challenging behaviours, with additional learning needs or in a 1 to 1 setting is required for this type of position.
Importantly, all staff and candidates must be aware of VES’ Safeguarding Policy and must follow all procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults. Educational Requirements
VES are looking for Teaching Assistants with ONE OF the following qualifications:- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in CCLD.
- Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social.
- BA Hons Childhood Degree.
