SEN Teaching Assistant – Merthyr Tydfil
Overview
We are thrilled to be hiring qualified Special Education (SEN) Teaching Assistants, to work in schools in across Merthyr Tydfil. The ideal candidate needs to be hardworking and committed to their role. Further to this, Teaching Assistants may be required to work with children on a one to one basis or in small groups, therefore candidates for these roles should be open to providing support in various ways.
These vacancies cover planned and unplanned absences such as sicknesses, maternity, paternity and courses, therefore you may be called to work the same day.

Educational Requirements
VES are looking for Teaching Assistants with ONE OF the following qualifications:- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in CCLD.
- Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social.
- BA Hons Childhood Degree.
