Registration Information

Getting Started – Registration

Joining VES Recruitment as a Care Worker is simple, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Whether you’re experienced in care or looking to start a rewarding new career, we’ll guide you through the registration process and help you access flexible work opportunities across South Wales.

Step 1 – Get in Touch

To begin your registration, you can:

1. Complete our online enquiry form
2. Call our team directly

Once we receive your details, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your experience, availability, and the type of work you're looking for.

Step 2 – Book Your Registration Appointment

You will be invited to attend a registration appointment, which can take place:

1. At our office
2. Via Microsoft Teams

This allows us to get to know you and ensure we match you with the right care settings.

Step 3 – Complete Your Application

Before your registration appointment, you will be required to complete all application documents online. This helps us ensure a smooth and efficient registration process.

Step 4 – Required Documents

To work as a Carer with VES Recruitment, you will need to provide:

1. Proof of ID (e.g. passport or driving licence)
2. Two proofs of address
3. Relevant qualifications or training certificates (if applicable)
4. DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one through VES
5. Full employment history from leaving compulsory education
6. At least 24 months of references (employment and/or education)
7. Right to work in the UK

You will also be required to complete:

1. Safeguarding Training (Group A & Group B)
2. Any additional mandatory training relevant to care settings

All documents are checked in line with strict compliance and safeguarding standards.

What Happens Next?

Once your registration and compliance checks are complete:
• You will be cleared for work
• We will begin offering you suitable shifts and placements
• You will receive ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
