Cover Supervisors – Merthyr Tydfil
Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working in Secondary schools in the Merthyr area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.
Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
-Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
-Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained by managing student behaviour.
-Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided.
-Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources.
-Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

Educational Requirements
VES are looking for Teaching Assistants with ONE OF the following qualifications:- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning.
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 in CCLD.
- Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social.
- BA Hons Childhood Degree.
